# What is Supported.tech?

> A customer communication platform for agents that can understand, act and hand off across voice and messaging.

Supported.tech is a customer communication platform for building AI agents that can answer, verify information, use approved business systems and complete the next useful action.

The same operation can work across **phone, chat, WhatsApp, SMS and social DMs**. Conversations, actions and outcomes stay connected, even when a customer changes channels.

## What an agent can do

* Answer questions from approved knowledge.
* Find customer, order, booking or account information.
* Schedule, update or cancel appointments.
* Check inventory, delivery status or availability.
* Qualify a request and collect the information a person needs.
* Trigger approved workflows, webhooks and API actions.
* Transfer the conversation—with context—when human judgment is required.

## Agent Cycle™

**Agent Cycle™ is the Supported.tech process for building, running and improving an agent.** You can configure the platform directly or describe the job through your own GPT or Claude connection.

The six stages are:

1. **Create** — define the agent, voice, behavior and intended outcome.
2. **Connect** — approve the knowledge, tools and systems it may use.
3. **Test** — try ordinary requests, edge cases and failure paths.
4. **Launch** — connect channels, hours, disclosures and handoff rules.
5. **Operate** — review conversations, actions and results together.
6. **Calibrate** — improve instructions and controls from real work.

## People remain part of the system

Automation should remove waiting and repetitive work—not conceal risk or force every situation through an agent. Supported.tech lets you define when the agent may act, when it must ask for confirmation and when a person should take over.
